The problem

Every single order needed a person to pick and ship it before customer premises equipment reached the customer. A step that scaled linearly with sales, which is the wrong way for a step to scale.

What I built

  • 01Onboarded Pine Media to Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment.
  • 02Built the API chain between the CRM, order processing and MCF.
  • 03Wired it so placing an order triggers dispatch of the CPE from Amazon's fulfilment centres, with no human in the middle.

Outcome

The manual step between order placement and equipment arriving disappeared entirely — and stayed gone as volume grew.
