About

(The story)

I designed the delivery methodology used across Pine Media — Sprints first, then a five-stage Outcome-Oriented Agile model, and now OKRs. I led the CRM transformation onto Zoho. And when automation work kept stalling on dev capacity, I learned Deluge and took the automation layer on myself rather than waiting for it.

The thread through all of it is the same: find the step a person is doing because nobody built anything better, and build the thing that removes it. AI has made that cheaper and faster, not different in kind. I'm interested in where it genuinely changes how the work runs, and sceptical about the rest.

My path runs from professional kitchens, through a first-class BSc in audio production, into operations. Ten years in kitchens — the last six running a team through service — turned out to be closer to operations than it looks. You keep a system moving when something's gone wrong upstream, with clear ownership and fast decisions, or service falls apart.
