The problem
Automation work stopped dead whenever in-house dev capacity wasn't there. Outsourcing meant cost and lead time on changes that were often an afternoon's work.
What I built
- 01Learned Zoho Deluge and took ownership of the automation layer rather than queuing behind someone else's backlog.
- 02Maintained the existing scripts and built new automations as the business needed them.
- 03Wrote the technical documentation that lets someone new pick up systems work without a long ramp-up — the part that decides whether this outlives one person.
Outcome
Onboarding, billing events and equipment dispatch all kept running without external dev support.
